The team of the Industrial PhD in Computer and Telecommunications Sciences participated in the meeting of the European Project “eMediator”, in which they had the opportunity to present the new study program.

The eMediator project aims to create an ecosystem model with a demo portal that uses the principles of service and competency-based education, student-centered education and business-university partnerships to offer courses and various types of employment in a single European education and labor market. The project focuses on developing a model of this ecosystem and a test version of the portal, which implements these basic principles. In order to implement the trial version of the portal during the project, it is planned to develop a framework architecture, including the main functional building blocks:

• Pedagogical elements
• Organizational elements
• Technological elements
• Competency details

The meeting was attended by faculty members from various European countries, with specialties related to the subject of the new curriculum of the Industrial PhD, and the University of Ioannina team had the opportunity to get in touch with them and explore further possibilities of collaborations within the framework of the new progam.
